Salary, Allowance for Chinese Teacher, and Rent, for one Cadet in Hongkong.
Increased cost of printing Government Gazette.
Allowance to 2nd Shroff for collecting Hospital Bills.
Increase to Overseers of Works, and decrease of the Salary of Assistant Clerk in Land Office.
Decrease in Contingencies, and 2nd Clerk in Shanghai.
Abolition of the Offices of 2nd Clerk and of Chinese Clerk and Interpreter, and 2 Junior Registration Clerks. Increase to the Salary of Registration Clerk, and 1 Chinese Writer.
Increase in Contingencies, for Examination Fees.
Abolition of the Office of Accountant and appointment of 2nd Deputy Registrar, and increase to the Salary of the Clerk to Puisne Judge.
The Registrar of Supreme Court is to discharge the duties of the Registrar of Companies without any emolument.
Additional Masters.
The Establishment of the Lock Hospital has been removed from the Estimates. Increased expenses for Ward masters, Lunatic Asylum and Small Pox Hospital, and increased Salary to Apothecary and Clerk.
Increase in consequence of the substitution of one European Constable for an Indian Police Constable.
Increase to one Interpreter from $240 to $300,-one additional Engineer and one Stoker.
Decrease in Contingencies,-Uniform for Warders, but there are several small increases to the Salaries of Warden, Clerk, and Hospital Warders. Increase caused by the appointments of one Assistant Engineer, two Boilermakers, and two additional Cleaners, but there is also a small reduction in Engine Drivers Salaries.
